Preventive Dentistry

Situated in Quincy, MA, within the dynamic landscape of Boston Massachusetts, we believe that dental and oral health constitutes a pivotal component of holistic well-being. The significance of this connection cannot be overstated—neglected oral hygiene may pave the way for dental cavities and gum disease, with potential far-reaching implications including heart disease, diabetes, and even cancer. To safeguard against such risks, cultivating proper oral hygiene practices such as regular brushing, flossing, and mindful sugar consumption stands as an imperative shield against dental procedures and lingering health complexities.

Embracing a steadfast dedication to your well-being, we advocate for routine dental prophylaxis and oral examinations scheduled at least biannually. This meticulous attention to care underscores our commitment to maintaining not only your dental health but your overall vitality. Remember, nurturing a healthy oral environment is a daily pledge that reverberates throughout your well-being.

We proudly accept most dental insurance plans.

Cosmetics

Tooth bleaching (Whitening) is used to temporarily lighten discolorations caused by staining, aging, or chemical damage to teeth. External bleaching of the tooth can only be used in mild cases of tooth staining, more severe cases may require veneers to improve the esthetics.
Direct dental restoration used to repair decayed, chipped, cracked, or otherwise damaged teeth.
Veneers are thin shells of ceramic that are bonded directly to the front surface of the teeth. Great choice to improve the smile. Veneers are recommended for teeth that are discolored, stained, worn down, chipped, misaligned, irregular shaped and gaps between them.

Restorative Procedures

Crown is recommended when the portion of the remaining tooth has a failed large existing restoration, chipped, cracked or it has been damaged.

Bridge is recommended for the replacement of one or more teeth. A bridge attaches on one or both sides to teeth prepared with dental crowns.

Different materials are used for the fabrication of a bridge. One or more teeth could be
utilized to support the bridge.

Partial Dentures are used to fill in the space created by missing teeth to fill out your smile and improve function.

Complete Dentures are used to completely replace all your teeth and reestablish your function and esthetic.

The Resin-bonded fixed partial denture is the most conservative tooth-supported restoration. Usually leave the adjacent teeth next to the space with very little modification. It is truly a very conservative approach to replace teeth.

Preventive Dentistry

Fluoride is a natural mineral that develops strong teeth and prevents cavities. Fluoride application on teeth could be in a form of a highly concentrated rinse, gel, foam, or varnish. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends a professional fluoride treatment every 3, 6 or 12 months, depending on your oral health.

Dental sealants is a thin resin restorative material that is applied to deep pits and groves usually located on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth.

Sometimes regular and thorough tooth brushing cannot remove food and plaque from fine groves. Sealants will seal the groves and protect the vulnerable areas from tooth decay.

Procedure performed on primary and permanent dentition which includes scaling and polishing procedures to remove coronal plaque, calculus, and stains.

Surgical Procedures

Dental implants are generally considered the gold standard of tooth replacements. In a healthy bone tissue, dental implants are very predictable for success.
Bone graft is needed when bone is damaged due to moderate to severe periodontal disease and infection. Bone grafting is also indicated after a dental extraction and in preparation for placement of implants.
Extraction of a tooth is a common dental procedure performed to alleviate pain, prevent further dental issues, or create space for orthodontic treatment. During the extraction process, our skilled dental professionals carefully remove the affected tooth with precision and minimal discomfort. Whether it's a decayed tooth, wisdom tooth causing crowding, or a tooth damaged beyond repair, our team ensures a safe and efficient extraction, prioritizing your comfort and oral health throughout the procedure. We provide comprehensive post-operative care guidelines to promote quick healing and minimize any potential discomfort. Trust our experienced team to handle your tooth extraction with expertise and compassion, restoring your oral health and smile.
Soft tissue grafts are recommended to treat receding gum tissue that are surrounding natural teeth and implants. Gum donor tissue is usually taken from your own tissue.
Crown lengthening is a procedure to expose more of the tooth surface by reshaping the bone and the gum tissue. This procedure is usually recommended to improve retention of a crown and esthetics.
A biopsy is a procedure done to determine the presence or the extent of a disease. A sample of tissue is taken from the body and is sent to the pathologist for a close examination.
Osseous surgery is indicated to treat moderate to severe periodontitis. The main objective of osseous surgery is to reshape the damaged bone, reduce the pocket around the teeth so the plaque and tartar can’t accumulate.
